Goldfinger Factory is an award-winning social enterprise which transforms people, places and planet through beautiful design and sustainable production.
Located on the ground floor of the iconic Trellick Tower in West London, Goldfinger Factory combines a bespoke furniture & interiors business with a Teaching Academy for less-advantaged young people, where we share our skills in sustainable design, traditional craftsmanship & reclaiming materials. We also support local artisans to become self-sustaining, by providing them with accessible workshop facilities and retail space.
Everything we do is guided by our passion for circular economy principles and an inclusive community.
We have collaborated with Tom Dixon & Arup to create product lines, and our team of skilled artisans and trainees have delivered bespoke fabrication services to clients such as John Lewis, Heal’s, GAIL’s, Leon, Nando’s, Soho House, The Conduit, Wellcome Collection and Imperial College.
We are currently looking for a Marketing & Development Coordinator to join the team. If you have a passion for sustainability and social enterprise you could be our newest team member!
In this role, you will assist the Head of Development in identifying new development opportunities for our social enterprise. You will also design innovative brand assets, while collaborating on digital work to grow brand awareness. This is a creative role in the business, supporting events, photography, communications and fundraising. Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the social media engagement of supporters and updating website.
Creating images for our website and social media. Taking and editing photos of new products, events, bespoke furniture in-situ and day-to-day life at Goldfinger.
Creating marketing materials, posters and digital assets using InDesign, Adobe Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Supporting projects with independent use of design software.
Assisting with communications and marketing for upcoming events and product launches via social media.
Facilitating marketing outreach through email, direct mail and social media to promote activities.
Event support, including organisation, on the day set up, and general troubleshooting.
Identifying, developing and managing relationships with existing and new donors to maximise fundraising potential and supporter retention.
Reviewing the current opportunities within our partnership network.
Managing incoming supporter and partnership enquiries.
Building and developing community events, recruiting individual volunteers and supporters.
Keeping abreast of new developments in fundraising and identifying opportunities, including current and future legislation.
Maintaining appropriate database records and creating and delivering reports.
Attending external fundraising events.
Socially adept and a strong communicator and copywriter
Ability to use a high-quality DSLR camera
Excellent time-management and organisation
Great attention to detail
IT proficiency, including Excel
Good at problem-solving and effective under pressure
A passion for sustainability
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Creativity and ability to bring new ideas to the business
Previous relevant design experience
Be able to show your passion for the brand
This role is a flexible Part-Time paid position for 2 days a week reporting to the Head of Development. £9.50/Hour.
