In Spring last year, Catalyst Housing Association supported local talent Kristina’s marketing traineeship at Goldfinger Factory. After several years of feeling stuck in hospitality yet dreaming of a marketing role, Catalyst’s support gave Kristina the opportunity to ‘earn while you learn’ and take charge of her career path.
Kristina says, “I’m learning about how a social enterprise and a small business work, as well as about marketing. Marie (my manager, and CEO of Goldfinger Factory) signed me up to training courses and takes me to talks and events, to build my confidence and open my eyes. [She’s] a huge inspiration to me and I have learned so much from her in such a short space of time”.
Catalyst’s support provides much deserved opportunities for young people with untapped talent, giving them the skills and confidence to harness their potential. Kristina successfully completed her 1-year marketing traineeship at Goldfinger Factory, and following a personal decision to relocate to Brighton, we helped her on the employment path into a full-time position at a well-respected digital agency in Brighton, which will put her marketing and design skills to excellent use. We’re so proud of her, and grateful for all her work at Goldfinger Factory, and of course wishing her all the best in her new role!
