Bespoke Carpentry Course - Every Wednesday

  • Goldfinger Factory

Every Wednesday, 6:30-9:30pm

Our Bespoke Carpentry Courses are your chance to get down to the heart of woodworking. If you'd like to build yourself an outdoors table for summer meals on balmy evenings -this is your chance! You'll be dipping your toes in the handcrafted furniture waters in your very own upcycling experience (as you will be working with reclaimed wood)! Choose the piece of furniture you'd like to make and our skilled carpenter will guide you from the conception and design right through to crafting your tailor-made piece from scratch. You will learn how to use basic hand tools and more advanced equipment if you attend regularly. These courses are one-on-one or you can attend as a couple if you are making the same thing (£120).

Goldfinger Factory’s Offcut necklaces were created as a way of minimising waste in the workshop, melding a minimalist design and a commitment to thoughtful consumption. They have since grown popular as a graphic piece of jewellery, combining sharp lines with beautiful wooden texture.

The necklaces are designed by Catherine Stolarski, made from reclaimed wood offcuts and individually assembled by community workers in Goldfinger Factory’s workshop. Every necklace is unique.
